According to Andrew Flood’s July 28 lawsuit, he claims he was in a vehicle accident at Maryville and Edwardsville roads in Granite City on March 20.

Crowder approves $100,000 settlement in wrongful death suit against foster mother

Madison County Circuit Judge Barbara Crowder approved a $100,000 settlement on Oct. 16 in a lawsuit against a foster mother alleging a girl died while in her care. Crowder scheduled a hearing in the case for Nov. 24 at 1:30 p.m. Rene Butler, independent administrator of the estate of the late Cyrenity Gordon, deceased, filed the lawsuit on Aug. 21 against Apryl Pitman, the foster mother in whose care Gordon had been placed.
