Crowder scheduled a hearing in the case for Nov. 24 at 1:30 p.m. Rene Butler, independent administrator of the estate of the late Cyrenity Gordon, deceased, filed the lawsuit on Aug. 21 against Apryl Pitman, the foster mother in whose care Gordon had been placed.
