Circuit Judge George Moran will hear all pending motions Thursday, Oct. 14 at 9 a.m. in Metro Kirby Company v. The Hines Agency, a class action case that was filed in February 2002.

10/5/94-- The U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee approved the nomination of Third Circuit Court Judge Paul E. Riley for a spot on the federal bench. The Edwardsville native had served in Madison County as judge since 1985, including a term as chief judge from 1991-93.

A Lakin loss? Matoesian throws out suits against DaimlerChrysler
Maureen McGlynn of McGlynn & Luther represented DaimlerChrysler EDWARDSVILLE-Judge Andy Matoesian ruled against the Lakin Law Firm last week, throwing out two lawsuits that alleged DaimlerChrysler was responsible for injuries to truck drivers delivering their new cars to dealers.
