Car accident 29

EAST ST. LOUIS — A motorist claims he was injured in a collision with a Vaughan's Fetch employee.

John Lane Cambron Jr. filed a complaint on Oct . 26 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois against Vaughan's Fetch, alleging the vehicle owner's employee drove too fast and caused an accident.

Cambron alleges that on Oct. 2 he was injured in a collision near the intersection of Illinois Route 141 and County Route 1600 East in White County.

He claims he sustained injuries that caused pain, disability and disfigurement. He also claims he incurred medical expenses and lost wages. He alleges that he suffers from post-traumatic stress and has experienced a loss of normal life.

The plaintiff holds Vaughan's Fetch responsible because the defendant's employee allegedly failed to keep a lookout for other drivers, yield to traffic and drive at a safe speed.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensation based on the elements of damages. He is represented by Stephen W. Stone of Howerton, Dorris, Stone & Lambert in Marion.
