Skootr's in Mascoutah blamed for customer's trip on refrozen ice

A customer of Robert Schweigar, doing business as Skootr's bar and restaurant in Mascoutah, claims she was injured after slipping and falling on ice that had melted and refroze on its patio.


Rear-end accident in Swansea leads to suit

A Randolph County man is suing over claims he was injured when his car was rear-ended on Lebanon Avenue in Swansea.Patrick B. Zweigart filed a lawsuit Aug. 6 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Bradley J. Smith, citing negligence.According to the complaint, Zweigart was driving south on Lebanon Avenue near its intersection with North Gilbert Street in the village of Swansea on Sept. 26, 2012,

Environmental groups seeking Syngenta documents in settled $105 million case denied at 7th Circuit
