10/19/02-Pittsburgh Penguins hockey player Kevin Stevens graduated from the Madison County Court's drug treatment program and received his 'diploma' from Judge Edward Ferguson. Stevens was arrested in January 2000 with cocaine, a prositute and a pimp in a Collinsville hotel room.
OxyContin maker won't capitulate
The makers of the painkilling drug OxyContin may have a won-loss record of 202-0 in lawsuits against the company, but that hasn't stopped litigation accusing drug maker Purdue Pharma of everything from creating drug addicts to filing fraudulent patents.

Maag violated ethics law, workers say
The Maag flyer in question... Workers at Vienna Correctional Center are complaining that Appellate Court Judge Gordon E. Maag distributed campaign literature and asked employees for their support during a tour of the facility Oct. 4. Maag is running for Illinois Supreme Court against Washington County Circuit Judge Lloyd Karmeier.
