Tillery targets Philip Morris in new suit
Helping lung cancer victims recover in ways medical doctors cannot, renowned plaintiff's attorney Stephen Tillery filed suit against Philip Morris USA again Tuesday on behalf of his client, Steven Squires of Alton.

Oil company sues to recover debt
HWRT Oil Co. filed a four-count lawsuit against T-Rex Petroleum, Inc., T-Rex Corp., and Craig and Susan Nesbit in Madison County Circuit Court on Nov. 22 alleging that they are owed $115,771.48.

A Missouri man whose leg had to be amputated after it was crushed by an auger blade is suing the equipment manufacturer for more than $100,000.
Lindau's asbestos case settles
Luke Lindau in Madison County Luke Lindau, a 78-year-old Arlington Heights man who suffers from mesothelioma, will not get his chance to face the people responsible for his illness in court. Instead, Lindau settled his case for nearly $4 million, according to Lindau's attorney Scott Hendler.
