Buyer of Royal Sub Market in ESL claims seller breached agreement

Lawsuits

BELLEVILLE — A buyer is suing Qusaio O. Odeh, owner of Royal Sub Market in East St. Louis, citing alleged breach of oral agreement.

Masoud Abou Amra filed the complaint on April 23 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Qusaio O. Odeh alleging that in 2016, he purchased the Royal Sub Market and real estate at 7200 State Street for $150,000.

Amra claims Odeh failed to provide the bill of sale along with other documents for the transfer of the real estate and rented the store to unknown individuals.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks an order for the return of plaintiff's money totaling $150,000 and for injunctive relief in the form of a property lien against the real estate, attorney fees, costs and all other relief that are just and appropriate. He is represented by Neal A. Connors of Neal Connors Law Firm PC in Belleville.
