BELLEVILLE — A motorist is suing another driver for allegedly causing a rear-end collision on Lebanon Avenue.
Donald E. Gillum filed a complaint on April 17 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Rickey C. Watson, alleging he breached his duty to operate his vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 3, 2017, he was driving his vehicle west on Lebanon Avenue when Watson rear-ended his vehicle.
Gillum claims he suffered severe and permanent injuries to his neck, back, limbs, head and spine.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of not less than $50,000, plus costs of court.
