EDWARDSVILLE — A man claims he was injured when he slipped on ice or snow at an Edwardsville health club.
Brent Davis filed a complaint April 17 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Our Health Club & Spa 2013 LLC, alleging it failed to maintain the entryway area in a reasonably safe condition.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 26, he slipped on an unnatural accumulation of snow or ice in the entryway of the defendant's business.
Davis claims he sustained injuries that resulted in medical expenses for treatment.
The plaintiff alleges Our Health Club & Spa failed to remove the accumulation of snow or ice and to warn invitees of the unsafe condition.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of not less than $50,000, plus costs of this action.
