Hopkins stands by statements

To the Editor:

I have now had a chance to read and digest the comments by the Rev. Thomas Paprocki, made in reaction to my article in the Record on May 1 dealing with his selection as the Bishop-Elect in the Diocese of Springfield.

After careful reflection and review, I stand by all comments made and conclusions put forth dealing with his suitability for the office.

I look forward to my continuing this dialogue in the future with the Bishop Designate.
