A St. Clair County man who was allegedly injured while working for Union Pacific Railroad in Cahokia on Sept. 29, 2003, filed a FELA suit in St. Clair County Sept. 16, seeking damages in excess of $50,000.
Timothy Fisher claims while working on a railroad container as a mechanic for UP, he sustained severe injuries to his right shoulder.
According to the complaint, UP failed to provide Fisher with adequate tools to perform his work, failed to provide him with a stable platform to work on, failed to provide him with adequate training and negligently placed a defective container into service.
