A Madison County woman is accused of rear-ending another car while driving in Granite City.
Steven C. Bringer filed a lawsuit against Renee E. Weidner Nov. 26 in Madison County Circuit Court.
Bringer claims he was driving a Kia Sedona north on Missouri Avenue on April 5when he stopped for oncoming traffic prior to making a left turn. He says he was hit from behind by a Chrysler Town & Country being driven Weidner.
Bringer says he was hurt in the crash and is suing Weidner for negligence. He asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical expenses, loss of income and court fees.
Attorneys Brian D. Kurth and Justin L. Mason of St. Louis represent Bringer. They request a jury trial.
