He claimed that conservative views are suppressed in SIUE's student newspaper, The Alestle. The relative of a Pontoon Beach man who perished two years ago in an apartment fire filed a wrongful death suit in Madison County Circuit Court July 11 seeking damages from the property owner and smoke detector manufacturer.
Feds break up meth operation arresting 11
Eleven southern Illinois men and women were indicted on charges of producing and distributing methamphetamine in Wayne and White counties for nearly 10 years by U.S. District Attorney Ronald Tenpas.
