David J. McQuay of Granite City, who suffered from a heart attack and blood clots, filed an 11-count lawsuit against Merck & Co. and Walgreens claiming Vioxx caused his health problems.

Couple seeks $350k fix for failure to disclose flooding problems
Flooding at their Pontoon Beach home prompted Donald and Carrie Roberts to file a seven-count, $350,000 lawsuit against the former owners, the real estate agent who sold the home and the real estate company, Jan. 14 in Madison County Circuit Court.
Alton car wash files suit against equipment supplier
An Alton car wash which invested $123,000 in machinery is suing an equipment supplier for $70,000 because the parts didn't work properly after installation.

A Kentucky car dealership and its employee were sued in Madison County Circuit Court Jan. 13 seeking damages in excess of $100,000, stemming from a car accident in Staunton on April 3, 2004.
