Circuit judges in Twentieth, Third Judicial Circuits win retention

Circuit judges running for retention in St. Clair County's Twentieth Judicial Circuit and Madison and Bond County's Third Judicial Circuit easily won their seats.

In St. Clair County, Circuit Judge Zina Cruse won retention to a third term with 75% approval, or 72,283 to 23,846 votes.

Judges must achieve at least 60% approval to be retained to a subsequent six-year term.

Circuit Judge Christopher Kolker won retention to a second six-year term with 76.5% approval, or 72,725 to 22,340 votes. 

Circuit Judge Heinz Rudolf won retention to a second six-year term with 76.4% approval, or 72,606 to 22,906 votes.

Chief Circuit Judge Andrew Gleeson won retention to a third six-year term with 77% approval, or 73,774 to 21,933 votes.

Circuit Judge John O'Gara won retention to a second six-year term with 76.9% approval, or 73,391 to 22,000 votes.

In the Third Judicial Circuit, Circuit Judge Kyle Napp won a third six-year term with 79% approval, or 96,804 to 25,545 votes.

Circuit Judge Sarah Smith won retention to a second six-year term with 79.6% approval, or 96,722 to 24,775 votes.

Circuit Judge Christopher Bauer, who presides in Bond County, won a second six-year term with 74.8% approval, or 98,906 to 33,175 votes.
