Navitas Credit Corp. sues over unpaid judgment

EDWARDSVILLE - A credit company claims a church has failed to pay a judgment entered for nearly $62,000.

Navitas Credit Corp filed its lawsuit against Crosspoint Southern Baptist Church in the Madison County Circuit Court. 

According to the complaint, Navitas alleges a judgment was entered against the church on Oct. 10, 2023, for $61,918.69. The judgment was originally entered in the Court of Common Pleas in Lexington County, South Carolina (23-CP-3202690). The plaintiff claims Crosspoint Southern Baptist Church has failed to pay the judgment.

Navitas Credit Corp seeks recovery of the judgment in its favor. It is represented by attorney Kevin Posen of Teller, Levit & Silvertrust, P.C.
