Illinois gubernatorial candidate Darren Bailey is on track to take the Republican nomination, according to a poll released by Ogden and Fry.
The downstate farmer, and state senator from rural Louisville, received 31% support with Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin at 17%. Jesse Sullivin is in third at 11%.
Bailey's lead swells to 40%-24%-17% respectively when undecided voters are pressed to pick their choice.
U.S. Senate candidate Kathy Salvi has an initial lead over Peggy Hubbard at 17% to 9%. With undecided voters make a pick that lead increases to 39%-18%. The data is pointing to a Kathy Salvi victory.
The Secretary of State race is similar with downstate Rep. Dan Brady (R-Normal) leading John Millhiser 32%-17%. The lead jumps to 65%-35% when undecided voters pick a candidate. The data is pointing to a Dan Brady victory.
On the initial ballot Attorney General candidate Steve Kim has a slight lead over Thomas DeVore 25%-21%. But Devore gets the bulk of the undecided voters. When combined the race tightens to 41%-41%. This race is a toss-up.
