Baker & McKenzie LLP issued the following announcement on May 17.
For the second year in a row Baker McKenzie received the "Law Firm of the Year - Media" award at the fourth edition of the TopLegal Industry Awards.
The event took place at the Palazzo Mezzanotte in Milan on 16 May, in the presence of more than 400 professionals from eminent national and international law and tax firms.
The committee, composed of 66 leading professionals including general counsel and legal and corporate affairs directors, awarded the firm with the following motivation: "Baker McKenzie won the award thanks to its undisputed expertise in IP and copyright, as well as its considerable negotiation skills. Qualities deployed to assist Sky Italia in the negotiation of some agreements with the Mediaset Group."
