Concrete contractor alleges injuries after hose broke free

BELLEVILLE —The owner of a concrete company is suing a subcontractor after he was allegedly struck by a hose that had broken free. 

William Lampros filed a complaint on May 2 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Dennke Company LLC, doing business as All Star Concrete Pumping, and Heintz Pool & Spa Company, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Lampros is the owner of a concrete contracting company and was working at 1300 Greenbank Way in O'Fallon on May 3, 2017. Lampros alleges the defendants were working as a subcontractor when he was struck in the hand and chest by a hose that had broken free. 

The plaintiff claims he sustained serious injuries including a broken sternum, bruised and cracked ribs and a broken and lacerated finger.

The plaintiff seeks relief in excess of $50,000, and other relief deemed fit. The plaintiff is represented by Ronald J. Abernathy Jr., and Kenneth L. Halvachs of Halvachs & Abernathy LLC in Belleville.
