BELLEVILLE — An Illinois man claims he suffered serious injuries when a blocker truck ran into him while he worked on a road construction project.

William Vos filed a complaint April 24 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against B Line Incorporated and Right Way Traffic Control Inc., alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Vos was employed as a union teamster Sept. 24, 2018, for a road construction project on Interstate Highway 255 in St. Clair County. The plaintiff alleges a driver for B Line drove a tractor trailer into a blocker truck owned by Right Way. The blocker truck then ran into Vos, causing serious injuries to his brain and spine, the suit states.

Vos seeks relief in excess of $50,000, plus costs of the suit. He is represented by attorney Bruce R. Cook of Cook, Bartholomew, Shevlin, Cook & Jones LLP in Belleville.
