EDWARDSVILLE —A man is suing a hospital for allegedly failing to give him the proper care to prevent bedsores.
Milford Marshall Jr. filed a complaint on April 11 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Oliver C. Anderson Hospital alleging negligence and breach in the standard of care.
The suit states that the plaintiff was in the care of the defendant beginning on March 31, 2017. The plaintiff alleges he was caused to contract bedsores and was transferred to a rehab center for treatment of his condition and care.
The plaintiff is seeking $50,000, plus costs of the suit. The plaintiff is representing himself pro se.
