BELLEVILLE — A Belleville motorist claims she was injured in a Mascoutah collision with a tractor trailer.
Candice Kehoe filed a complaint Dec. 14 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Hamdija Efendic and E & A Trucking LLC, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, on Feb. 19, 2018, Kehoe claims she was driving her Nissan Versa on the Interstate Highway 64 exit ramp approaching state Route 4 in Mascoutah. She alleges Efendic was driving E & A Trucking's Volvo tractor trailer and allegedly caused a collision.
Kehoe claims she suffered severe and disabling injuries to her left knee, right eye, neck, back and other parts of the body.
The plaintiff alleges Efendic failed to keep proper lookout, failed to yield and failed to stop at a stop sign. She also alleges E & A Trucking failed to properly train and supervise Efendic.
Kehoe seeks trial by jury, judgment exceeding $50,000, plus court costs. She is represented by attorney Gregory M. Skinner of Belleville.
