Motorist sues over Belleville collision

Lawsuits
Car accident 37

BELLEVILLE — A motorist is suing another driver for allegedly causing a Belleville crash.

Kevin S. Mc Elligott filed a complaint on Nov. 15 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court, against Hunter L. Allemeier, alleging negligence.

The plaintiff alleges that on April 26 he was involved in a collision at or near the intersection of North Belt West and N. 42nd Street in Belleville. He claims he sustained injuries, suffered pain and mental anguish, and incurred medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds Allemeier responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently made a left turn in front of Elligott's vehicle and failed to avoid colliding with the plaintiff's car.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that is reasonable and equitable, plus costs of suit.

He is represented by Alvin C. Paulson of Alvin C. Paulson, Attorneys at Law in Belleville.
