BELLEVILLE — A motorist claims she was injured when another driver crossed into her lane of traffic and caused a collision.
Miranda Harper filed a complaint on Nov. 13 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court, against Thomas Wodarcyk, alleging he breached his duty to drive his vehicle safely.
According to the complaint, Harper alleges that on April 1 she was injured in a collision near South DeMazenod Drive. She claims she suffered multiple injuries, disability, lost wages and medical expenses.
The plaintiff holds Wodarcyk responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain proper control of his vehicle and drove it in such a way that it crossed the center line and entered the incoming lane of traffic, striking the plaintiff's car.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgement in her favor in an amount exceeding $50,000, plus costs and all other relief that is proper and just.
She is represented by Alan G. Pirtle and Lisa Tsacoumangos of Brown & Crouppen PC in St. Louis.
