BELLEVILLE — A motorist claims she was injured when another driver struck the front of her vehicle.
Charity Kennedy filed a complaint on Nov. 13 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against John Pugh, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, Kennedy alleges that on Dec. 22, 2016, she was injured in a crash near the intersection of Carlyle Avenue and Lancer Drive when the defendant struck the front left side of her vehicle.
She claims she suffered injuries to her neck and back.
The plaintiff holds Pugh responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a careful lookout and failed to yield to oncoming traffic.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of less than $50,000, plus costs and all other relief that is appropriate. She is represented by Richard E. Banks of Banks & Associates LLC in St. Louis.
