BENTON — A housekeeper is suing Fidelity Commercial, doing business as the Baymont Inn, claiming the hotel operator violated the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Constance Clark filed a complaint on Oct. 16, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois Benton Division, alleging that the hotel operator failed to pay overtime when she worked more than 40 hours per week.

She alleges that she regularly worked more than 40 hours in a week in 2017 without receiving overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds Fidelity Commercial because the defendant allegedly failed to pay overtime compensation for hours worked over 40 in a work week.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all unpaid wages and compensation, liquidated damages, attorneys’ fees, costs, interest and all other relief to which she may be entitled.

She is represented by Sergei Lemberg of Lemberg Law LLC in Wilton, Connecticut.
