EDWARDSVILLE — A Collinsville man wants a refund after the seller of an insurance company allegedly failed to transfer the business telephone number.
William Wydra filed a complaint on Nov. 8 in Madison County Circuit Court against Carli Anderson.
According to the complaint, Wydra bought Anderson's insurance business for $130,000. But Wydra claims Anderson did not transfer the phone number associated with the business, resulting in lost sales.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury. He also wants to cancel the contract and seeks a refunded of his $130,000 with interest. He is represented by Randall P. Steele of Steele Law Offices LLC in Glen Carbon.
