EDWARDSVILLE — A driver accuses a man of harassing her and then causing a car crash after a road rage incident.

Amanda M. Yeager filed a complaint on Oct. 12 in Madison County Circuit Court against Denzile G. Doss, alleging the driver breached his duty to exercise due care to avoid a collision.

According to the complaint, Yeager alleges Doss harassed her by writing her name and number in men's restrooms to prompt sexually-suggestive and harassing phone calls. Then while driving, she claims the defendant intentionally cut her off in order to scare her, causing a collision.

As a result, the plaintiff claims she suffered physical injuries and damage to her vehicle.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in her favor in an amount of not less than $50,000, plus costs. She is represented by Thomas G. Maag of Maag Law Firm LLC in Wood River.
