BELLEVILLE — A motorist faces a lawsuit from an insurance company over costs associated with a car crash in Belleville.
State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, as subrogee of Kay M. Wood, filed a complaint on Sept. 26 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Arnette F. Collins.
According to the complaint, the defendant negligently operated her vehicle and caused an accident at the intersection of Carlyle Avenue and Green Mount Road in Belleville. The defendant owes $2,232.46 for payments made on behalf of Kay M. Wood from the aforementioned accident, the complaint states.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for the sum of $2,232.46, plus costs. He is represented by Christian D. Biswell of Drake Narup & Mead PC in Springfield.
