EDWARDSVILLE — A motorist is suing a California trucking company and driver over a crash on Interstate 255.
Sierria L. Johnson filed a complaint on Oct. 15 in Madison County Circuit Court against Gillson Trucking Inc. and Fnu Namit.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was traveling north on Interstate 255 in Collinsville when Namit crashed into her vehicle while operating a truck owned by Gillson Trucking.
Johnson claims she suffered severe injuries resulting in pain and suffering, medical expenses, loss of earnings and disability, the complaint states.
The plaintiff alleges the driver was speeding and did not stay in his lane..
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants in an amount in excess of $50,000, plus costs. She is represented by Eric J. Carlson of Byron Carlson Petri & Kalb LLC in Edwardsville.
