EDWARDSVILLE — A Granite City resident accuses an Edwardsville motorist of causing a crash.
Rick Jones filed a complaint on Oct. 17 in Madison County Circuit Court against Jared Winters, alleging the driver failed to exercise reasonable care to avoid colliding with the plaintiff's vehicle.
According to the complaint, the defendant allegedly rear-ended the plaintiff's vehicle near Nidringhaus Avenue and Edison Avenue.
Jones claims he suffered injuries resulting in disability, pain, lost wages and medical expenses, the complaint states.
The plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to adhere to traffic signals.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant in an amount in excess of $50,000. He is represented by Stephen R. Slough of The Law Office of Steve Slough in St. Louis.
