Motorist alleges speeding driver caused rear-end collision

BELLEVILLE — A motorist is suing another driver for allegedly rear-ending her vehicle. 

Myra Sherdan filed a complaint on Oct. 1 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Damien Prince.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges the defendant rear-ended her vehicle while she was stopped on the ramp of Highways 64 and 159. 

She claims she suffered injuries to her neck, back, right wrist and right knee. 

The plaintiff alleges the defendant was speeding and did not keep enough distance from her vehicle.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant in an amount exceeding $50,000, plus costs. She is represented by Nathan W. Davis of Rossiter & Boock LLC in St. Louis.
