Motorist alleges tractor-trailer driver caused Interstate 70 collision

EDWARDSVILLE — A motorist accuses a trucking company and its employee of causing a crash on Interstate 70.

Gearold R. Stine filed a complaint on Oct. 5 in Madison County Circuit Court against Homan Trucking LLC and Ike R. Rose. 

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was traveling east on Interstate 70 near the Highland rest area when the tractor-trailer driven by Rose collided with his vehicle. Stine alleges Ross was speeding and failed to yield. 

He claims he suffered pain, mental anguish and property damages. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs. He is represented by Brian M. Wendler, Angie Zinzilieta and Paul E.H. Rademacher of Wendler Law PC in Edwardsville.
