BELLEVILLE — A liability insurer is suing a driver for allegedly failing to make payments following a collision.

State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, as subrogee of Kay M. Good, filed a complaint on Sept. 26 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Arnette Collins, alleging negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges the defendant negligently caused a crash at the intersection of Carlyle Avenue and Green Mount Road. State Farm now claims that defendant owes it $2,232.46 plus court costs from payment made on behalf of its insured from the collision.

The plaintiff alleges Collins has refused to pay the sum despite demands for payment.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $2,232.46 plus court costs. He is represented by Christian D. Biswell of Drake, Narup & Mead PC in Springfield.
