BELLEVILLE — A driver claims he was injured in a collision on Frank Scott Parkway.
Frederick W. Woods IV filed a complaint on Sept. 17 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Victor Moran Ramirez, alleging he negligently operated his vehicle.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 4, 2016, he was driving a vehicle traveling east on Frank Scott Parkway and was stopped due to traffic when the defendant struck the rear of his vehicle.
He claims he sustained injuries that required medical attention.
The plaintiff holds Ramirez responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently drove his vehicle at an excessive speed without maintaining careful lookout.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs and all further relief the court deems necessary and just. He is represented by Christopher K. Geldmacher of Sauter Sullivan LLC in St. Louis.
