EDWARDSVILLE — A woman claims a motorist pulled out of a Pontoon Beach parking lot in front of her, causing a collision..
Ashley Sears filed a complaint on Sept. 25 in Madison County Circuit Court against Larry Shidle and Dart Trucking Company.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was traveling west on East Chain of Rocks Road in Pontoon Beach when Shidle pulled out of a parking lot in front of her.
As a result, Sears claims she suffered injuries to her shoulder, back, head, ear and knees.
The plaintiff alleges Shidle did not properly operate his motor vehicle while employed by Dart Trucking.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants for more than $50,000. She is represented by Kirk A. Caponi of Williams Caponi & Associates PC in Belleville.
