EDWARDSVILLE — A motorist is being suing for allegedly causing a crash in an Alton parking lot.
Cheronda White and President Rush filed a complaint on Sept. 7 in Madison County Circuit Court against Richard Johnson, alleging he failed to exercise the highest degree of care in operating a motor vehicle.
According to the complaint, White and Rush were parked in front of Sunshine Bakery in Alton when the defendant drove into them. The plaintiffs claim they suffered injuries requiring medical treatment.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek damages of more than $50,000, plus costs. They are represented by Jade S. Koller of Koller & Meador LLC in St. Louis.
