EDWARDSVILLE — An injured driver is suing over a 2016 car accident on Airline Drive in East Alton.
Debra Andrews filed a complaint on Aug. 29 in Madison County Circuit Court against Savanah Riggs.
According to the complaint, Andrews was traveling westbound on Airline Drive in East Alton when Riggs, traveling eastbound, crashed into her. Andrews claims she suffered severe and permanent injuries. Andrews alleges Riggs was speeding.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs. She is represented by Kenneth B. Beljanski and Jaye R. Lindsay of Brown & Brown LLP in Fairview Heights.
