Motorist alleges intoxicated driver caused Frank Scott Parkway crash

BELLEVILLE — A motorist suspected of driving under the influence is accused of causing a collision.

Amy White filed a complaint on Aug. 17 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against James Bachman, alleging the driver negligently drove his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

According to the complaint, White was traveling northbound on Frank Scott Parkway when Bachman struck her 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander. She sustained bodily injuries resulting in disability, disfigurement, pain and suffering, loss of income and medical expenses, the complailnt states. White alleges Bachman was intoxicated and speeding. 

White requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs. She is represented by attorneys Kevin Boyne and Jason B. Going in Belleville.
