EDWARDSVILLE —  A father and his daughter are suing the operators of a trampoline park after the girl allegedly fractured her leg at the park.

Sydney Dmochowski, a minor by and through Gerry Dmochowski, her father and next friend, filed a complaint on Aug. 16 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Michael Anderson, Heather Anderson, et al. alleging they breached their duty to operate the trampoline park in a reasonably safe manner.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on June 8, Sydney Dmochowski was injured at the Altitude Trampoline Park. She claims she suffered severe and permanent injuries, including but not limited to fractures to the leg and nerve damage.

The plaintiffs allege the defendants failed to properly train and supervise their staff in the operation of the trampoline courts and failed to adequately warn patrons of the potential danger of being injured in the premises.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek compensatory damages in a fair and reasonable amount, plus costs and all other relief that are just and reasonable. They are represented by G. Michael Stewart of Simmons Hanly Conroy LLC in Alton.
