BELLEVILLE — Citizens Community Bank is suing a borrower, citing alleged breach of promissory note.
Citizens Community Bank filed a complaint on Aug. 14 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against S.W. Franklin Group Inc., alleging the borrower failed to perform under the terms of the note.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 24, 2010, he defendant executed a promissory note in favor of plaintiff in the amount of $67,687.50 for its indebtedness on a business loan.
As of Aug. 10, the sum amount of $54,739.20 remains due and owing. The plaintiff holds S.W. Franklin Group Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay monthly principal and interest when due.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $54,739.20, plus attorney's fees and expenses. It is represented by Myron A. Hanna of Hanna & Volmert LLC in Belleville.
