EDWARDSVILLE — An Edwardsville woman alleges a driver from Godfrey caused a collision.
Brenda M. Holshouser filed a complaint on Aug. 14 in Madison County Circuit Court against Carol R. Geisen, alleging the driver did not exercise ordinary care for the safety of other motorists.
According to the complaint, Geisen slammed into the back of Holshouser's Cadillac SRX-4 at the corner of North University Drive and New Poag Road. The plaintiff alleges the defendant was speeding and failed to keep a proper lookout.
Holhouser claims she suffered injuries to her neck, shoulder and arm.
Holshouser requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs. She is represented by Katie Hubbard of Goldenberg Heller & Antognoli in Edwardsville.
