BELLEVILLE — A passenger on a motorcycle blames her driver and another motorist for causing a crash on West Main Street.

Elizabeth Correale filed a complaint on July 16 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Samuel I. Tackett and Bridgette Dodson, alleging they failed to maintain proper control of their respective vehicles.

According to the complaint, Correale was a passenger on a motorcyle driven by Tackett when they were involved in a crash at the intersection of North 60th Street and West Main Street.

She claims she suffered severe and disabling injuries resulting in great pain and anguish, the complaint states.

Correale claims Tackett was speeding and Dodson did not obey a stop sign.

Correale seeks a jury trial and damages of more than $50,000. She is represented by Bruce R. Cook of Cook, Bartholomew, Shevlin & Cook in Belleville.
