EAST ST. LOUIS — A real estate developer and building materials supplier did not pay overtime wages, a former project manager claims.

Michael Bold filed a complaint on June 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois against R.P. Lumber Co. Inc., R.L.P. Development and Robert Plummer. Bold alleges the companies violated the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Illinois Minimum Wage Law.

According to the complaint, Bold routinely worked more than 40 hours per week without receiving overtime compensation. When Bold complained, the complaint states, the companies fired him.

Bold seeks back pay plus damages. He is represented by Joshua M. Pierson of Sowers & Wolf in St. Louis.
