BELLEVILLE – Two residents of St. Clair County allege they were injured when another driver struck their disabled car.

Terrance Brown Jr. and Terreana Brown filed a complaint on June 20 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Ralph D. Robinson alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 10, they were involved in an auto collision in the eastbound lane of Interstate 64 when the defendant caused his vehicle to collide into their disabled vehicle. The suit states the plaintiffs had pulled their vehicle into a median because of a flat tire. They allege they suffered serious and permanent injuries to their neck, backs, shoulders, arms and legs as a result of the collision.

The plaintiffs hold Robinson responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to yield to the right of way.

The plaintiffs seek compensatory damages of more than $50,000, prejudgment interest, and all other relief that are necessary and proper. They are represented by Benjamin J. Sansone of Sansone, Sumner & Lauber in Clayton.
