BELLEVILLE — A St. Clair County man is suing a motorist for allegedly causing a collision in the Southview Plaza parking lot.
Robert Rizzo filed a complaint on June 7 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Christopher Reynolds, also known as Chris Reynolds, alleging he breached his duty to exercise reasonable care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 8, 2016, he was injured when Reynolds struck the plaintiff's vehicle in the parking lot of the Southview Plaza.
Rizzo claims he sustained injuries resulting in pain and suffering, disability and medical treatment expenses.
The plaintiff alleges Reynolds failed to maintain proper control of his vehicle, failed to reduce speed and failed to maintain careful lookout.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $75,000, plus any further relief deemed just and equitable.
