Car accident 29

EDWARDSVILLE — A Madison County woman claims she was injured when a motorist ran a stop sign and caused a collision.

Nancy Collins filed a complaint on June 6 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Morgan Nunley, alleging the defendant failed to avoid a collision.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges the defendant struck her vehicle on Dec. 28, 2016, when Nunley allegedly disregarded a stop sign and failed to maintain a careful lookout.

As a result, the plaintiff claims she has sustained severe injuries, causing her to endure pain and suffering and incur medical expenses.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in an amount that exceeds $50,000, plus costs and any further relief that the court may deem just and proper.

She is represented by Matthew P. Young of Kuehn, Beasley & Young PC in Belleville.
