EDWARDSVILLE — A woman claims she was injured when she slipped and fell in a Circle K parking lot.

Sheryl E. Dobrinich filed a complaint on June 7 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Mac's Convenience Stores LLC, doing business as Circle K, alleging it failed to maintain its parking lot in a reasonably safe condition.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she slipped and fell while she was in the defendant's parking lot.

She alleges the defendant failed to warn her about the hazardous condition of the parking lot.

As a result, the plaintiff claims she sustained permanent and progressive injuries to her back, leg and head.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks between $25,000 and $75,000 in damages, plus the costs of this action.

She is represented by Thomas E. Hildebrand in Granite City.
