Car accident 28

EDWARDSVILLE — A motorist claims she suffered permanent injuries in a collision.

Marcia Wood filed a complaint on June 7 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Robert M. Cowan and Kira N. Marsh Cowan, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Robert Cowan negligently operated a motor vehicle owned by Kira Marsh Cowen, causing it to strike the vehicle Wood was operating.

The plaintiff claims she sustained severe and permanent injuries, resulting in pain, anguish, medical expenses and lost wages.

Wood alleges Robert Cowen failed to take evasive actions to avoid the collision and Kira Marsh Cowen negligently gave Robert Cowen permission to drive her vehicle.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in an amount of no less than $50,000, plus the costs of this action and any further relief that the court may deem just and proper.

She is represented by Adam W. Bragee of Walton Telken LLC in Edwardsville.
