EDWARDSVILLE — A Madison County woman is suing a driver from Calhoun County, claiming she was injured in a crash.
Patricia Korte filed a complaint March 27 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Nolan Fisher, alleging he failed to maintain proper control of the vehicle he was driving.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 30, she was driving a 2013 Lincoln MKZ southbound on Seminary Road. She claims she was stopped near Union School Road in Alton when Fisher's vehicle rear-ended the plaintiff's vehicle.
She claims she her left shoulder, back and right foot were injured and that she incurred medical expenses.
The plaintiff alleges Fisher failed to reduce his speed, stop or make proper maneuvers to avoid the collision.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages for an equitable sum of more than $50,000, plus costs of this action.
